Senior salaried employees in the architectural design sector have a new collective agreement. This means that the strikes previously announced at two companies in the sector for May 28 and May 30 are cancelled. The ban on flexibility that applied to the entire sector also ends.

JUKO, Pro and JHL as well as employer organisation Finnish Education Employers have accepted the proposal by National Conciliator Anu Sajavaara to resolve the university labour dispute. The 24-hour strike that was to affect the University of Helsinki and the University of Turku on May 27th has been cancelled.

Strike notice for the Universities of Helsinki and Turku – 13,000 university employees to strike

JUKO, Pro and JHL have today issued a strike notice for the University of Helsinki and the University of Turku. The 24-hour strike will begin at 00:01 on 27th May and end at 23:59 if no solution is found before then on the terms and conditions of employment and salary increases for university employees. Conciliation continues today, Monday 12th May.
