According to a recent study, people with doctoral degrees still have higher salaries than those with a lower-level degree. However, the labour market has cooled off significantly for doctors since the early 2000s. This can be seen in, for example, slower postdoctoral salary trends and slower salary trends than people with master’s degrees.
