Electronic voting for TEK’s General Council elections is open until Monday, 30 March at 12 noon. Find out about the electoral alliances, electoral coalitions and candidates below.

Who is eligible to vote?

You can vote if you are a full or pensioner member of TEK (including dual members) or a full or pensioner member of TFiF-TEK, and your membership has been valid since 1 January 2026.

How do I vote?

Electronic voting takes place on a separate voting page. You can access it by visiting www.tek.fi/election. Voting is open until 12 noon on 30 March.

Voters authenticate themselves using Finnish online banking credentials, a mobile certificate, or two-step verification with an email address or phone number. We will send a separate identifier to the designated email address or phone number. Use the identifier to log in to the voting page. The email address or phone number must match the details you have provided in the OmaTEK member portal. If you update your information during the voting period, transferring it may take a few days.

Who can I vote for?

When you vote, you must select a candidate from your own electoral area. Your area is determined by your place of residence recorded in the TEK membership register on 1 January 2026. If you live abroad, you can vote in any of the electoral areas. TFiF-TEK members may only vote for candidates in the TFiF electoral district.

Should TEK lower its membership fee? Should it offer work‑life–related services, or perhaps maintain strike readiness? Do you think students should have the right to vote in TEK elections? The election compass makes it easy to find the candidate who best matches your values and views. Learn more about it here: www.tek.fi/election-compass

Donation campaign

We will donate three euros to charity for each vote. After voting, you can select where your vote's donation goes from our compiled list.

The donation will be made according to the number of votes cast, three euros per vote. A donation vote and a vote cast in the TEK elections cannot be combined.
