The Job search guide helps you develop your job search skills at every stage of the process. The guide provides essential tools for identifying your strengths, networking, preparing application documents, and getting ready for interviews. The exercises form a logical progression and help you improve your job search step by step.
The guide is available to all members of the KOKO fund. It has been compiled by the career coaches of TEK, Suomen Ekonomit, and Tradenomit. If you are already a TEK member, you can find all the services available to support your job search here.

As a TEK member, you have access to valuable support
In addition to the guide, TEK members have access to our experts' knowledge and support in matters such as job searching, salary negotiations, and reviewing employment contracts. If your situation feels overwhelming, you can book one or two sessions with a Mindy psychologist or psychotherapist. Learn more about our services below.
During unemployment, you may be eligible for a reduced membership fee. In 2026, the discounted fee for full members is €4.50/month, or €10.25/month if you belong to KOKO unemployment fund through TEK.
Career Coaching
We offer a variety of online trainings to support job seeking and career planning. These trainings are available for our members flexibly online whenever it suits you. Browse the topics that interest you, or take a deeper dive into areas such as articulating your skills, preparing for job interviews, or updating your LinkedIn profile.
As a full member of TEK, you also have access to personal career coaching sessions with TEK's own career coaches. During the coaching process, we focus on your individual situation and provide materials and exercises tailored to your needs.
CareerBoost
As a TEK member, you can take part in the popular CareerBoost peer support programme, which is aimed at unemployed jobseekers. This six-week job-search programme includes a variety of exercises and topics, which are explored in small groups.

Have a lawyer review your situation
Do you have questions about your previous employment relationship, such as unpaid salaries? Or are you about to sign a new employment contract? As a TEK member, you can always consult our lawyers on employment law matters and ensure your rights are considered in different situations.
Ease the burden with professional support
We offer our full members 1–2 remote sessions with a Mindy psychologist or psychotherapist. You don’t need a referral, and the sessions won’t be recorded in the Kanta system.
