At its organisational meeting on 28 January 2026, the Akava Board elected the vice-chairs for the 2026–27 term in accordance with the proposals of the Election Committee.
Jari Jokinen, representing the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK, was elected as the first vice-chair. The other vice-chairs are Katarina Murto (The Trade Union of Education in Finland, OAJ), Jussi Junni (AKI-liitot) and Petteri 0ksa (The Union of Professional Engineers in Finland, IL). Akava's Chair Maria Löfgren heads the board of directors (puheenjohtajisto).
