Finnish dental software provider Entteri’s AI-powered dental X-ray analysis and the way they launched it earned them the Public’s Favorite award. The Product Development Path Makers award is a recognition of work that advances product innovations. TEK is one of the award organizers.

The public voted Entteri as the winner of Public’s Favorite award. The Product Development Path Makers award was presented in Espoo yesterday, December 10th, by TT Foundation Board Chair Marjo Miettinen. The value of the award is €8,000. The goal of the award is to recognize and highlight outstanding product development and the people behind it.

“Finland needs growth and good news. We at TEK are delighted to highlight the importance of product development and the professionals who make it happen,” says Juhani Nokela, Director of Public Affairs at TEK. He represented TEK on the award jury.

In addition to the Public’s Favorite award, the jury awarded all four finalists with €8,000: Entteri, Saab, Betolar and Uute Scientific. Scroll down to read more about the winners.

“The award winners have shown in their own way that Finland has the know-how, and that gives hope in these economically challenging times,” Nokela says.

The award was organized by Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland (TEK) together with Aalto Design Factory, the City of Espoo, Technology Industries of Finland, Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, Finnish Forest Industries, and the TT Foundation. The jury consists of representatives from these organizations.

Product Development Path Makers 2025

ENTTERI

Entteri Professional Software Oy launched an AI-powered dental X-ray analysis system and offered it free to roughly half of Finland’s private oral healthcare sector. This helped overcome the conservative market’s hesitation toward new technology and enabling large-scale real-world testing.

SAAB

Saab Finland has introduced a product-driven, rapid-prototyping approach to the traditionally project-driven defense industry.

BETOLAR

Betolar’s Geoprime technology and concrete recipe replaces cement with industrial side streams, reducing concrete emissions by up to 80% and enabling scalable, circular materials.

UUTE SCIENTIFIC
Uute Scientific develops a microbial extract that restores environmental biodiversity to support immune health. Instead of building facilities first, the company secured demand early and iterated quickly based on customer needs.
