What are the council elections about?

Elections are held to select a 70-member council that represents members in the decision-making process of TEK. The delegates decide on the focus areas of TEK’s activities and propose new lines of action. At the beginning of its term, the new council will draw up a council agreement that will guide TEK’s activities for the next three years, i.e., 2026–2029.

Who can stand for election and vote?

All full and retired members of TEK, as well as full and retired members of TFiF-TEK, whose membership is valid on 1 January 2026.

Students do not participate in elections; instead, student representatives on the council are selected through a different process. Read more here.
