Welcome to TEK's Science Day for families at the Tampere University, in the upper lobby of the Festia building (Korkeakoulunkatu 8).
Choose the day that suits you best: Saturday 22.11., Sunday 23.11., Saturday 29.11. or Sunday 30.11.
The program includes science workshops, i.e. fun science with real researcher equipment. Science workshops are best suited for children between ages 3 to 10. The event will also feature the charming Tutkija Pii (Scientist Pi) with her funny science presentation (in Finnish).
At the photonics booth, you can steer laser beams using mirrors and lenses, see how objects glow under ultraviolet light, play with shadows, color filters and polarizers, and solve escape room-style puzzles. Photonics is a top field of research and education at Tampere University.
Coffee/tea, juice and snacks are available at the event.
You can arrive at the event and participate in the science workshops freely according to your own schedule between 12.00 and 15.00. Tutkija Pii's science show is from 13.15 to 13.45.
When you sign up, please tell us how many adults and children are participating.
Register fast for the experiential science day, because there are limited places.

Tutkija Pii's science shows include fun and spectacular science tricks and crazy inventions. Especially younger audience is guaranteed to be captivated. Tutkija Pii's science show is from 13.15 to 13.45 on all four days.
