Mona Moisala
Mona Moisala holds a Ph.D. in psychology with a dissertation on brain research and is an expert in brain well-being. She specializes in coaching and training knowledge workers. In her research, Mona has examined, among other things, how multitasking affects the brain and the ability to concentrate. She is also broadly interested in how our brains adapt to the modern environment, where we struggle with an information overload and a growing sense of urgency.
Mona has written the non-fiction book *Stupid Work Life: How to Save the Brain of a Knowledge Worker* (Otava Nonfiction, 01/2025). The brain of a knowledge worker is not a machine, and not everyone’s brain works the same way. Modern brain research offers new perspectives on, among other things, the significance of emotions, concentration, and individual differences in knowledge work.
