The final donation, worth EUR 380,000, was presented on 17 November to representatives of Aalto University at our 120th anniversary celebration in Otaniemi. Our Swedish-language subsidiary Tekniska Föreningen i Finland (TFiF) also gifted EUR 34,000 to Aalto University, bringing the total value of the joint gift to EUR 414,000.
At the anniversary event, we also recognised the best theses from 2016 and granted an honorary TEK membership to Dr. Emeritus Jaakko Ihamuotila D. Sc. (Tech.).
