You can find the new Workbook on your campus, for example through your university’s career services, at the TEK Lounges in Tampere, Turku and Lappeenranta, and in some guild rooms. In addition to the printed guide, the Workbook website offers useful information on different stages of the job search. You can also explore the Toolkit, where you can find exercises to support your job search as well as CV and cover letter examples for students in technology, architecture, mathematics and natural sciences.
TEK supports students in their job search and has once again brought together the latest job search tips in one handy guide. In addition to the printed guide, the content is also available online.
Starting a new job in Finland? Your trade union is here for you
Welcome to Finland and to working at a Finnish workplace. Starting work in a new country brings many unfamiliar practices, and no one expects you to understand them all straight away. Your trade union can offer information, advice and support throughout your employment, writes TEK's Daniel Valtakari.
