The TuKoKe competition is a science, technology and invention competition aimed at children and young people aged 4–20 years around Finland. Entries may be submitted in Finnish or in English.

TuKoKe is the largest general science competition for young people in Finland. A total of 156 entries were submitted in the last competition round, created by 287 children and young people. The TuKoKe competition is organized annually by the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK and Opinkirjo Development Centre.

The main language of the competition is Finnish, but entries may also be submitted English, so Finnish skills are not required.

Applications for the next competition round are now open. Competition entries may be created alone or in a group, in school or in your free time. The final will be organized in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area in spring 2024.

TuKoKe participants will receive feedback on their work from experts. Some competitors will be invited to the final event. They will all receive monetary prizes and some of them will be selected to represent Finland in the EU Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS).
