Ending your membership

We hope that you are happy with your TEK membership and use our membership services and benefits to get the most out of your membership fee. However, if you decide to end your TEK membership for some reason, please contact us.

You can end your TEK membership by contacting our member service using the OmaTEK service channel. You can also send a resignation notice by e-mail to the address jasenpalvelu@tek.fi. Please include your date of birth and either your membership number or your home address in the resignation.

If you have been a member of the unemployment fund through us, this membership will also end when you end your membership in TEK. If you want to continue as a direct member of KOKO, the Unemployment fund for highly educated, please notify the fund directly.

Student members can end their membership by phone. However, student members who are members of the unemployment fund through TEK should send a written resignation notice to the member service through OmaTEK.

You cannot end your membership retroactively. The membership fee is always invoiced for full months of membership, so your membership will end at the end of the resignation month, unless the resignation notice states otherwise. This means that you will continue to have access to our membership services until your membership ends.
