Kickstart your job search
If you are dismissed or temporarily laid off, register as an unemployed job seeker at the Employment and Economic Development office (TE office) on the first day of unemployment or temporary lay-off at the latest. You can report at the TE office even during your notice, as this might speed up the process. Make sure to register as an unemployed job seeker even if your employer has paid a support package for you.

Also, remember to inform TEK about your unemployment. You can get a reduction in your membership fee.

REGIONAL PROJECTS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT JOB SEARCH
Participate in group peer coaching meant for highly educated talents, who are looking for a job in Uusimaa, Tampere, Turku, and Oulu.
To qualify for the peer group coaching, the participants need to be registered in the TE-office as unemployed job seekers.
In the Group you will learn how to vocalize your competencies, how to market your capabilities and know-how, how to make your CV, Cover letter and LinkedIn profile excellent and how to stand out from the crowd. The group also helps to create and grow a network and to remain motivated during job search.
